This question hit me like a TON of Bricks, after hearing some insight from some mentors of mine. To some degree, there is some contradiction in that…
Being FEARLESS to be Unselfish, though that’s what is preached to us from a young age through community service and giving to others.
However, this also applies to how we go about our everyday lives, into our businesses and personal lives. Not just one part of our lives but EVERY part of our lives – our general BEING.

These quotes came to mind when I remembered meeting with one of my fraternity brothers for a drink one night when he came into New York City from Philadelphia. He recently graduated from law school and things weren’t going quite the way he had wanted.
Long story short: This video is a reflection of how I feel MOST people are selling themselves short of what they ultimately deserve: a more ABUNDANT life. Fear – among other “excuses” – get in our way from taking a leap of faith and pursuing our true passions and fulfilling our full potential.

This may seem like “pie-in-the-sky” (I love pie)…
but I want to share why YOUR intention on FaceBook is not so much about
the Quantity of friends but more about the QUALITY of YOUR 5,000 friends.
It’s not so much just about Building a List but Developing a RELATIONSHIP with your “Friends” List.

Question: Have YOU ever come across someone who was getting beat up and YOU just kept walking? Or beating themselves up and YOU just ignored them?
How about passing someone who YOU know that needs your help, but YOU were just too shy to offer what you have or felt inadequate that your “solution” couldn’t help?
Frankly, I’ve been in a similar state before.
It’s not a good feeling, especially when you never know if what YOU have can truly benefit someone until you actually OFFER it to that person in need.
Well, enough is ENOUGH. I no longer like feeling “HELPLESS” as I see people all around me going through challenges that I can be of assistance for. This video below shares my honest thoughts, and how I have decided to help a particular group of people going through a “heavy challenge” in our world:

Great question, right??
I didn’t always think so a few months ago. Actually, it was around that time when I first heard from one of my mentors, Ray Higdon, that he actually looked forward to hearing my story and how it could be helpful for others.
I never forgot what he said but didn’t know how to apply that afterwards. Thankfully, I just got back from Stockton, CA where I attended Jeffery Combs‘ Breakthroughs to Success Speakers’ Protege training event last weekend.
There, Jeffery does what he does best: Challenge me to stretch out of my comfort zone to become a better person than before – not just for me but for OTHERS as well.

Earlier this morning, I went to a small, intimate networking gathering in my local area for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners.
There, everyone was free, amidst plates of fresh fruit, pastries and muffins, to network amongst each other and share what each person did, with the goal of accomplishing MORE than just simply exchanging business cards.
I went there with the intention of testing myself.
Well, as business owners, we tend to speak FIRST on ourselves and how we’re the BEST business around and can provide people with EVERYTHING that they need.
I may be exaggerating…a little…but YOU get the point. Me, Me, Me, Me!
This time, I wanted to see firsthand what it was like being a “Go-Giver” and do nothing more than just see how much VALUE I can deliver to each business owner that I came across in their own situation. Nothing else.
What I learned was a little short of AMAZING…and frankly…changed the way I look at how I approach what I do…
As I tell YOU before, LIVE events (no matter how big or small) can truly change the way
we approach our businesses and grow as PEOPLE.
This was no exception here.
I’m on a MISSION that goes BEYOND just myself and my own self-preservation anymore…
